Bruce S. Jones, 76, of Bowmanstown, PA, passed away at home on January 9, 2025. He wasthe husband of the late Gwen (Bowman) Jones. Bruce workedfor many yearsat the Bethlehem Steel Corporation until retiring. He also was the owner and operatorof the Bowmanstown Hotel. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Norwood and Eleanor (Kern) Jones. He was a graduate of Slatington High School.Bruce served two tours of duty in the U.S.Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He received two Purple Heart medals with one Star, the Vietnam Service medal with three Stars, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal. He was a former Commander of VFW Post 7215 in Walnutport. Survivors: Sons: Danny N.
